Sustained Transformation
For the first two years, the Palestine Educational Conference focused on building awareness, challenging the way we think about education, and establishing a vision for how we teach Palestine, history, identity, and worldview. Now, in year three, PEC is growing from an annual conference into a year-long educational initiative.
This year, that growth looks different. By popular demand, PEC will be streamed, allowing educators and communities from around the world to join us. We are expanding to two days, with Day 2 dedicated to in-depth teacher training so educators can move beyond hearing ideas to learning how to implement them in their classrooms.
Because this work has grown beyond simply teaching about Palestine. It is about transforming how we teach. It is about approaching history, identity, faith, and the world through an Islamic worldview. It is about grounding our children in aqidah and equipping educators to help students understand not only what they are learning, but how to understand the world around them.
The conference may happen once a year, but the work should continue all year long.

2025 · Second Annual
Strengthening Palestine education through an Islamic lens.
The second annual conference focused on faith-centered approaches to teaching, storytelling, and leadership. It opened with Quran recitation by Yusuf Hamza of IQA, keynote remarks from Imam Tom Facchine, and a screening of Yaqeen’s series The Salahuddin Generation. The day also featured a Palestinian village-inspired photo setup, cultural segments, and networking.

Where it began.
The first conference established the premise: Palestine belongs in Islamic education, not as a current event but as part of identity. Imam Tom Facchine’s keynote emphasized the significance of sharing our own stories and framing our narratives through an Islamic lens. Sessions introduced practical classroom resources, alongside a presentation on Palestinian embroidery and a Fall in Palestine segment.
