World Storytime Live is a global, live online storytime designed to spark a love for reading, ignite curiosity, and nurture meaningful, reflective learning in children. We bring families together from around the world in the spirit of Iqraa and the pursuit of beneficial knowledge, while helping children feel part of a connected global community.
How It Works
Storytime comes alive.
Sessions are led by inspiring educators and authors who bring stories to life in a joyful and meaningful way. Through live interaction, children connect with stories in a values-centered environment and with one another across cultures, building belonging, understanding, and shared growth.

Read
A living author or educator reads a chosen book aloud, live, with the children watching and listening together.

Connect
Children meet peers from other countries and time zones, discovering that the story they love is being loved elsewhere too.

Reflect
Interactive activities and quizzes help children carry the story into their own lives, so they read, reflect, and grow with purpose.

When We Meet
Every Wednesday, live on Zoom.
One session, many time zones. Families join from across North and South America and beyond.
The Zoom link for each session is shared in our WhatsApp group, along with reading resources, activities, and prizes for the children.
